Street Game Court, Indoor Soccer and Basketball Court for Kids
Dribble, bounce, kick and score on the SuperPark Street Game Court. Inside the SuperPark Games Arena is a complete mini court which is both an indoor soccer court and indoor basketball court in one.
The SuperPark Street Game Court is a great activity for bigger groups of kids to team up and play together.
How to play on the Street Game Court
Grab your friends and head into the Street Game Court (inside the SuperPark Games arena). From here, you have the tough choice between kids soccer or kids basketball.
Once you’ve picked your sport, pick which side of the court your team will be on and get ready to play. Your time on the Street Game Court lasts for 90 seconds, so make the most of your time to score and beat your opposition.
Improve your shooting skills on the Street Game Court
Our Street Game Court is suited to both small or large groups of kids. For younger kids our street game court is great for developing hand eye coordination skills and fostering team work. For older kids, especially those in large groups, it’s a great chance to work on teamwork and drills. It’s also located inside our Games Arena which has heaps of other fun games to play.
There are so many great drills and games you can try out on the Street Game Court. Here’s some of our favourites that work for the indoor soccer court and the indoor basketball court.
Games on the indoor soccer court
- Fun soccer drills for kids like Red Light, Green Light to practice dribbling. (You can only move when the traffic controller yells green light and you have to stop when they yell red light)
- Goal shooting practice on the indoor soccer court to improve soccer skills for kids
- Shooter vs the Goalie – a soccer skills game for kids where player 1 tries to kick goals and player 2 tries to defend the goals.
- Give and Go – another kids soccer game where players must successfully pass to another player and receive the ball back before trying to score a goal.
Games on the indoor basketball court
- SWISH – a basketball game for kids that is also a shooting drill. Every goal scored earns you a letter and the first player to spell out swish by scoring 5 goals wins.
- 1 on 1 pickup – playing against one opposition on the indoor basketball court
- Team based pickup – playing in teams to hone your kids basketball skills
- Kids basketball drills like dribbling from one end of the court to the other.
These are just some of the fun soccer drills and basketball games for kids you can play on the Street Game Court. The only real limit is your imagination – and that 90 second timer.
Keeping it safe on the Street Game Court
The Street Game Court is located inside the SuperPark pedal car track. The main safety tip is to make sure that any races on the pedal car track have stopped and that one of our SuperPark team members has let you through.
From here you can choose to use the street game court as either an indoor basketball court or an indoor soccer court. Pick either your basketball or soccer ball and get started.
Fun never stops at SuperPark
There’s so much more to do at SuperPark beyond our indoor basketball court (or indoor soccer court). There’s more than 15+ activities to make you move more.
SuperPark is Melbourne’s first ever all-in-one indoor play centre. There are three themed activity zones to suit every style of play. The Adventure area is made for daring explorers, the Games Arena is great for team play and the Freestyle Hall uses your nimble skills on some of the coolest activities around.
There’s really something at SuperPark for every kind of kid (even the technically adult kids).
